Hey,
this looks like a great piece of software and I really like how well the design goals are thought out.
However, the ros2 branch is now 4 years without updates.
The develop seems to have received a lot more attention.
Which branch should be used?
Is the develop version somewhat stable or should we still use the ros2 branch?

The develop branch is mostly stable (except for broken webrtc support), and far more reliable than the python nodes in the ros2 branch.
I've just switched the default branch to reflect that
