Validation issue for New Link

Steps to reproduce:

// click to add new item
// pick "Link (a given URL)"
// fill Label (mandradory)
// leave blank link URL ...

Error apears with validation for LINK URL..
It says that a valid URL must be inserted into Link URL....
then message
"Enter the URL above. Leave blank for #" ... is wrong.

I guess there must be active_url or url validation rule on the menuItem model
