My team at The George Washington University is interested in applying for the India Alliance Team Science Grant. I was unable to find any specific deadlines or timeline associated with the application process. Can you tell me if the 2024 application is still open or if the applications are on a rolling basis? If the 2024 application period is closed, can you provide the timeline for the 2025 application cycle?

There is currently no update available on the launch of Team Science Grants. However, our competitions are routinely announced on the website (https://indiaalliance.org/fellowshipdeadlines). It is advisable to visit the website regularly to stay appraised of further calls for competitions.

RE: Wellcome Trust India Alliance

I heard back from Wellcome Trust India Alliance and according to their deadlines they do not have any awards open for the Team Science grant. The most recent one closed on May 1, 2024. I would expect another application to open in early 2025.

If you'd like, I am happy to continue working on the aims so that we can coordinate with your contact in India and potentially get something in place to submit in 2025.
