Description

The latest version of the ASP NET Core Angular template uses Angular 5, whereas this project uses Angular 4.2

Solution

Upgrade the project to use Angular 5

Any particular sub-version of 5? Is there a key feature in 5 that you're looking to use, or is this just for versioning purposes? I assume this relates mostly to the ClientApp?

Essentially, I'm looking for an upgrade to Angular 5 (or there abouts), as the client app in this project is running on Angular 2 which is no longer supported and has a number of vulnerabilities.
