load_metric_file is very slow #318

Running the following command takes 1.2 seconds.

from hera_qm.metrics_io import load_metric_file
am = load_metric_file('/lustre/aoc/projects/hera/lberkhou/2458853/zen.2458853.50416.ant_metrics.hdf5')

This is very, very slow for a 1.4 Mb file and it's annoying if I want to load in a whole day of antenna metrics files.
