Can't create new Hitchwiki account

Recently I heard couple of reports that people can’t create a Hitchwiki account. The error message is “Your biography must me at least 20 words”, although they type more than 20 words. I tried to create a new account myself with the same result.

Can replicate. Things that i tested and excluded as the problem:

• cyrillic letters not being counted in the bio
• "+" being blocked in the email username

Not sure I understand your question.
This issue was closed as "completed" so I expected the problem has been fixed, but it's not.

As Hitchwiki is a multi-language project, it should allow non-English authors to join and contribute in their native languages.

of course a workaround is to just put something in English in the description, once the user is accepted it can be changed anyway
