Hi,
I notice that if I change the file and then go back to the initial file, the Prompt it! does not work anymore.
To make it active again, I copy the whole document with a Ctrl + C, I click on new page then I paste with Ctrl + V and in this way, the function Prompt it! works again.
I noticed that when the function is inactive, no code appears if I click on source.
Is it possible to correct this problem?
Thank you

Hello @Patrockanite,

I'm currently unable to replicate the issue, so I need you to provide a more details. Here's a few question that would help in replicating the issue.

  1. What version of Imaginary Teleprompter are you running? The current version is Version 2.4.0.
  2. Are you running Imaginary Teleprompter installed on your computer or from a web browser?
  3. In relation to the prior question:
3.a. If installed, where did you download Imaginary Teleprompter from?
3.b. If running on a web browser, what web browser do you use to run Imaginary Teleprompter? (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari...)
  4. What operating system does your computer have? (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  5. What CPU architecture does your computer have? Is it 64 bit, 32 bit, or ARM based?
  6. By "change the file", do you mean making changes to the current document or loading a new document?
  7. By "initial file" do you mean the instructions file or a file of your creation?

Sorry if these feel like too many questions, but these could really help in diagnosing the problem. The fact that "no code appears if you click on source" reveals something. Where there other things that you did or notice prior Prompt It not working anymore?

Hi,
i have the same problem on 3 different computers.
2 windows 10 (up to date)
1 windows 7
I am using version 2.4.0 installed
OS 64 bits, processeur x64
I downloaded teleprompteur to this url: https://sourceforge.net/projects/teleprompter-imaginary-films/files/2.4/Imaginary%20Teleprompter%20Setup%202.4.0.exe/download
By "change the file": I mean load another file made with the Imaginary teleprompter installed on the same computer
By "initial file" I mean a file created by me
I attach the files in case they contain the error
thanks a lot

I downloaded your files and occasionally experienced the same issue. (2.4.0, Raspberry build). Perhaps is associated to your linked images? When I opened your html files, all of the jpgs apparently showed broken links in Chromium and none loaded when I imported your scripts into Imaginary Prompter. However when I selected all, then cut and pasted from the browser window into the Prompter, the text scrolls.
