Every time bumblebee updates in the PPA, it seems to launch the install script which requires user input. The issue with this is of course the fact that the console doesn't show by default when running Update Manager in Ubuntu. So, you end up with the Update Manager hung waiting for input in its console until you expand the console section and go through the prompts.
Updates should either automatically reconfigure the system, or should use a proper user input scheme so that the user actually knows that input is required.
