Upon disconnecting my HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 from the Thinkpad, it doesn't show the windows which where on the external monitor prior on the inbuild laptop screen. I.e. if Firefox was open on the external monitor it won't transfer that window after the disconnection to the inbuild one. If one tries a reboot, the reboot stalls and one has to hard reset the laptop in order for it to boot normally, which it then eventually does. Is there a way to fix this?
Edit: This happens under Sonoma 14.5 with the latest release of the Sonoma EFI

Is the issue fixed or unfixable? In case my description of the issue was
lacking, the Valnoxy-Repo mentioned a related issue here:
valnoxy#154
It seems like the Thunderbolt isn't working properly in general...
