The new alarmInit functionality in CDEPS share code has a bug, which doesn't allow UFS to write mediator history files (critical for debugging) at nsteps frequency (ie, at every step through the coupling loop).

A fix has been merged at ESCOMP in PR#318 (ESCOMP#318) and needs to be added to our fork.
