When using multiple accounts, I often want to to reply/boost/fav/bookmark a post using a different account to the one where the content appears.

e.g. Browsing the timeline on my "work" account, and see something of interest to my "project" account and want to boost it from my "project" account.

This could be done by right-clicking on the button, and having a dropdown menu like "boost from account..."

This is implemented in the Ivory client, and I am a big fan of this functionality.

Workaround: Copy the link, move to the other account, move to search, paste the link to the post, then click the reply/boost/fav/bookmark button.

Edit: This was tested using Sengi 1.6.3 on macOS

Doing actions (reply/boost/fav/bookmark) on content using another account than the one it comes from is the very DNA of Sengi: all you have to do is selecting the account you want to use and do the action after that.

I will have to reinstall and try that, thanks.

Would adding the right click menu be easy then (if enough of your users think it would be helpful alternative way to do this)?

Would be a good alternative yes, even if it could trick users on how Sengi works, since all revolves around the currently selected account, instead of other clients that integrate this on second thoughts (with secondary menu and such).
