Not working on Multiplayer

Good morning or afternoon,

I had help in coming across finding this fork of the original Dynamic Discs mod after the OG one wouldn't work at all. After managing to figure out how to compile the code into a useable .jar file for the mod to be used, I got this amazing fork version to work but only for single player. in the OG mod description, it says it works on multiplayer as well but I'm not sure if this forked version was made for multiplayer in mind or just single player so I need some help.

When using it on me and my friend's server, the mod gets loaded and recognized as working but whenever I create the disc and change the name to a song I want, when I put the disc in a Jukebox I get a message on the server console cmd that it could not find the song. I know the name of the song, and everything is correct because the same exact song worked in single player, so I'm not sure what to do.

Maybe I compiled the mod wrong or with missing pieces it needs but I barely was able to compile it as I know nothing about compiling code, so perhaps you could compile it and send me it as I may have done it wrong or not complete? Or maybe you can let me know if I need a certain dependency for it to work on a server that I don't have, or perhaps that this forked version doesn't work with multiplayer at all. Our server is running on a laptop that we have access to at my house, so it's locally ran (not sure if that makes a difference or not). But if you could take the time to help me figure this out, I'd appreciate it!
