Discussion points as of 1/12/2024 in our OccO WG meeting:

Is "skill" different from "competency"?
It appears that skill is different from ability.

John: The difference may be on training. Ability does not need training. However, skills need training. However, it may not be abosolute difference.
What is the differentiation criteria for skills and abilities?

Robin: It appears that the skills and abilities are different from competency.

Oliver: can we say:
skill "grounded in" some ability ?
where 'grounded in' is a relation between a disposition and quality, or between two dispositions?
Skill: is_a disposition for sure;
Ability: is also a disposition, which also needs manifestation.

Robin/John: Some people may lift 50 pounds without training. Some need training.

Currently, OccO has 35 Skills and 52 Abilities: 52, which are form the O*net or US-SOC classification.
It also appears that ESCO has a different classification.
