Would be cool if we fix the names on markdown and have links to our various github repo next to our names on the list. Using markdown Would also give improved functionality to our project

Yes. any suggestion on how to achieve this?

we can proceed with this by switching to a markdown file format
by using a "[name](github url)" syntax we can have every contributor attach their various github account link to their name.
This would make this repo a reference point to check on the improvement of the various github profiles of the interns of this cohort

cc @tobisupreme @Omafovbe @oseunabiola @Succynice Can we switch from the text to markdown file so we can capture the GitHub link of each person.

Yes we can.

Do we ask contributors to update their names with their github profiles, or do we assign people to do all of that?

It will not be automatically put, no.

We have to draft a post on slack to this effect which I think we can assign to @tobisupreme . Existing people with names in the repo can update name with GitHub link.

It will be another wave of PRs. Scared.

We have [Name](GitHub Link).

This is my thought.

Yes. [Name](github link) so that the link is hyperlinked to the name. Clicking on it will lead to the user profile

We also have to update the readme too 😅

Personally, I think that we should leave it at the names.txt

@tobisupreme I don't think we have concluded on using markdown as against
text file.

No we haven't. I'm merely sharing my thoughts too

I think markdown format would be cool, though a lot of the contributors might find it difficult to implement. but it's a learning process right, and both formats means more PR.

I can volunteer to be assigned the corrections
