Currently, there's a part of the website being provided by static html pages and the rest is auto-generated by sphinx.
while i see it makes sense to have some 'hand-made' pages (which in fact could also be 'sphinxed' looking at its capabilities!), it is plainly confusing when navigating the page.
for example, the page behind "documentation" has the navigation from the static part, while a click (on that same page!) on "zinc library documentation' switches into the sphinx-generated domain and introduces a completely new navigation on the side!

this is very disturbing, not only for persons visiting the first time.
i suggest to keep the manually edited pages to a minimum and have no side navigation pane there.
