phc-winner-argon2 is unmaintained

Filing this issue to let other library users know that I have emailed the maintainer and it seems like the reference implementation is not maintained anymore. :(

Yeah I'm afraid the repository hasn't been maintained, as the algorithm design and API have been frozen, the argon2 code was successfully integrated in various projects and wrappers, and the argon2 designers stopped caring (and tbh I didn't have time to help much myself, as PHC organizer). So if you need some changes in the code then please make your own fork. Thanks for reaching out to me and sorry for the project rot.

If you use argon2i or argon2id you can use Libsodium as a replacement but unfortunately it doesn't have argon2d support so its not entirely a replacement.
