Look into parsing DBX in-engine. Alternatively just convert DBX to XML.

Don't know if this is preferable actually. Maybe it should be a toggle.

It's handy to be able to modify xml manually, although that can be done using the BC2 Mod Tool.

Look into how hard it would be to convert the script.
