right now it doesn't seem possible to enter a date via keyboard, only via choice the date picker.
This can be rather tedious when entering dates that are far in the past or in the future.

Am i missing something?
Should this possible?

Hmm, seems like that how the date picker widget in GTK is. I understand why it can be a problem. I'll definitely look into it. Thanks.
