Search bar not appearing under customize filters

On demos etd deployed from 4.2.4-staging and local development from latest 'main':

No error in logs, but search box will not appear or persist in sidebar.

I've done work on this recently and have proof of concept solutions and comments here:

• For the Admin List Filters, the Search Box Filter is not saved when added. TexasDigitalLibrary/Vireo#1875
• Issue: Search Box does not appear after selecting it in the filter of the admin list. TexasDigitalLibrary/Vireo#1874

Search box was intentionally disabled as per:

• Search Box failing to select any items in list view TexasDigitalLibrary/Vireo#1146

I think we can just use the other filters for searching. Remove (or hide) the general Search box from List View.
