I have question on response_latency parameter of L2 cache.
In gem5-SALAM/configs/common/Caches.py response latency is explained as "Latency for the return path on a miss".
Can you give a broader explanation? Is it equal to miss latency of the cache? If yes, isn't gem5 use sperate models for memory controller and ram?
thanks in advance,
Irmak
