Delete "Upcoming Events" #100

I feel that it is not so easy to keep https://unopengis.github.io/smartmaps/events up to date. In fact, I saw events in February when I created this issue (2024-06-25).

How about deleting https://unopengis.github.io/smartmaps/events and also delete link to the page from the top page?
