The line 238 in the thesis.cls file specifies the location of the UTS logo on the title page.

According to regulations, the logo should be 18mm left and down from the top right-hand corner (check the example here).
In some compilers, the system thinks the corner is the edge of the border and not the page. Hence, the logo is offset by the page borders.
