Add Support for IR Readers

Hello, i flashed AMS Reader on a ESP8266 NodeMCU and connected a IR reader RX on UART0, set baud rate to 9600, 8E1 for my Landis+Gyr E450 (without RJ11 Port) and.. it works flawlessy except the HAN RX Error on the top. My idea is to bring an option HAN or IR reader and a settable timeout.

My L+G R450 don't send Phase performance (Phasenleistung, the Power per Phase) and the Powerfactor. Can you make it Calculated?

Did you try the Pulse communication configuration?

You could potentially get rid of the HAN error by using that setting.

No, that is not possible.

As I understand it, the reading about impulse from the LED on the far left of the picture (1000 Imp/kWh) does'nt send any serial data. That way i don't have voltage and current per phase etc..
My IR reader hangs on the right of the DLMS connection and receives serial data.

Yes, you're right - sorry for the confusion.

Using the "Pulse" setting you will only be able to count pulses and receive enough information to display power and (I think) calculated energy. You need to use the setting you have already found to be working.

And I think you'll just have to live with that error message (unless @gskjold finds a way (and time) to modify the code to avoid it.

To help him, it could potentially be helpful if you could post an output from a Telnet debug.

It looks to me as if the issue is in your IR reader - that for some payloads deliver payloads with errors (there is a checksum in the payload).

And please - it would be great if you can help improving the German user interface! It is a German-speaking user that did the current translation, but improvements are always welcome.

I made a few changes to the translation, corrected a few errors and adapted them to the specific application (power meter). In German there is often no right or wrong, hope that helps.
