Question: Playback with Swing

Can some option be passed to add swing to the playback?
I found that in the code at least the MIDI option "swing" is being evaluated, but it does nothing or I am doing it wrong.

Also I found that example - but I think the option can't be passed in the obsidian plugin:

I am clueless, can somebody help. Also a hack where swing is applied permanently would be very appreciated, since I am only using it for jazz music.
And I honestly am to lazy to mess around with triplet notation crazyness with makes the sheet so hard to read.
