This error message also appeared on Playdate OS 2.0.0.

For reference, some investigation into Rust / Playdate 2.0 compatibility is going on here: pd-rs/crankstart#45

This issue is blocked by the work going on for crank/crankstart - packages playboy depends on.

Building with some experimental patches I was able to get the Simulator to run a new version for Playdate OS 2.0, but there are still issues building for the real device mentioned here

I've had success building it for the simulator, but haven't managed a device build sadly. Anybody had any success?
