If you wish to create a regional atlas it is important to remove layers from a given data source that are not relevant to the region of interest. This can currently be done manually checking all the layers of a given data source then filtering them with a black/white list. Unfortunately this is difficult to maintain. It would be far better if we could add a rule to only include layers based on a given bounding box.
This filtering would be most useful if it could be applied to a given client as this would remove the need to create a different data source for each filtering of the datasource.
It would also be handy if users could filter the list of layers to add based on the bounding box of their current view of the map.
