oh-my-git isn't using the right unicode characters on my system. #111

I installed oh-my-git and awesome-terminal-fonts from the Arch Linux AUR and used the fallback strategy.

For some reason, my icons aren't using the same unicode characters than for oh-my-git,
for example my GitHub icon:

Which results in a broken prompt:

I experimented the same issue (ubuntu 16.04). After trying hard to remap chars in prompt.sh..., i just changed my term (teminator) font settings to use SourceCodePro+Powerline+Awesome!
Everything works fine now. Hope this helps

I've also had the same issue. My prompt is filled with squares with unicode numbers inside.
