I think these features would be really nice if they were added

Whisper, where somebody can use /whisper [discord nickname/name (with or without numbers idk)] [message] and the bot dm's the discord user the message, and the discord user can do the same thing back to the player.

Vanish, where somebody simply does /chatvanish and it hides there messages from discord but still shows them online in tab and !list

This is a misleading statement. Discord is not "removing" normal commands, but instead making it a privileged intent for Discord bots in over 75 servers. Because ayun61cord relies on you to create your own bot, this is a non-issue.
