I know it's still early days, but it'd be nice to decouple the protocol handler (web API) from what happens in the back end (in your case, relying on your PullServerAdmin I assume, similar to how Tug does it.
Putting this in for tracking/discussion.

What do you think?

Hi @gaelcolas. For now I'll keep it tightly coupled until I figured out the entire protocol. I agree with you that decoupling is the way to go.
