Set a downtime where will not try to sync

In my case, the server wich I connect to, is down at nights, and every day I get sync fail notifications.
It would be fine, along side the other connection conditions, to add the ability to set downtime.

Hello, my server,due energie savings, is also down at night:
if you are diskussing these theme maybe you could think obout fixing the timezone, wher the server is lokatet.
(when leaveing the timezone the sync fail notifications will restart)

I'm glad someone else brought this up, even if it was almost a year ago. I noticed that when i leave my phone and it's not charging, the largest drain is DavX5. I want to keep things updated, but I don't want it to happen certain times, like at night time. So setting a do-not-sync time schedule would be ideal, like which days and what times to not sync based on the otherwise-set frequency.

What kind of device do you have? Normally DAVx5 does take so little battery for syncing that is not even noticable. If I look into the battery settings and apps, it's always at the very end of the list for usage or sometimes not even displayed.

Hello devvv4ever- the battery drain is'nt the issue for me, i get daily error messages.
but I'll try a workaround: via nextcloud on my webspace. Use then the calender & adressbook of my nextcloud.
But then the charm of having my data only on my server is gone.

Pixel 8. Yea I understand it should be incredibly minimal. And I've changed the sync rate after I noticed it but before I did, which was maybe 15 minutes for Calendar and 6 hours for Contacts, if I left the phone not charging over night, one of the top drains was DavX5. So not sure if it's my device or setup, and either way, it would be a good feature even without this particular use case.
