It's Windows 10.
Yes, I tried uninstall/reinstall with beta 2, even tried uninstalling, deleting the install directory, and reinstalling.
It is interesting that the layout presented is the one I last had working in beta 1, which leads me to believe that something remains even after uninstalling and removing the directory.

In my installation, it freezes if it is already running (i.e. an old unity process running), but shouldn't happen after rebooting. Anyways, it shouldn't do that neither, if it's already running it could start again or not start, but should not crash. |

The latest version looks like it is an improvement, but I still have the problem that it is locked up as soon as I open it.
Window controls aren't responsive and the only way to close it is with task manager.
Is it possible that there are some registry entries left around from earlier versions?
This happened with beta 2 and beta 3.
