I just got a raspberry pi zero w and followed the installation instructions. All is good except I can't get the device to read heart rate from my garmin watch. I have my watch set to broadcast ANT+ heartrate and I have an ANT+ usb dongle plugged into the pi. I'm guessing there's some config or ANT libraries I need to install for this to work? Is this documented anywhere? I couldn't find anything. Also-- how can I set config options that aren't available with the existing args? I'd like to set the echelon gears control knob on. I'm using pi zero w headless with -no-gui. Thanks! |

hi @chreds unfortunately i never started the work to port the ant+ on raspberry. ant+ is supported only on android. i suggest to use your phone instead |

No worries. I will just put the ant stick on the tablet and connect the hr monitor directly to rouvy.
What about config settings when using no-gui? How can I turn in echelon gear changing via the knob for headless raspberry operation?

you can edit the settings from the config file under .config folder or you
can create a pull request adding a new --setting for the gears

My first guess would be the port's already in use. Does syslog have anymore information on the error? You can try netstat -nl to see if anything is listening on 80 already, or try changing it to a different port and starting. If the QT version gets updated in QZ I imagine that would require you to update the plugin version as well but I doubt that's happened in the last few weeks. Could be some packages missing too. Nothing spectacular in syslog about it. I even stopped it with sysctl and tried starting it directly with sudo ./qdomyos-zwift -qml -platform webgl:port=80 and I just get this: |

Yes, QZ works fine without the webgl parameters, but I don't have a UI to speak of. |

yeah it could be nice but i don't have time to also maintain the raspberry
branch. i'm already receiving hundreds of email every day for ios and
android :)
i found the raspi 4 "enough" for the UI :)

Editing settings is painful from the phone via webgl, but the main UI is
fine. Probably would want to set zoom to like 80% or something so 2 or more
tiles fit side by side on the phone. The slide out animation for settings
is really laggy. I wonder if performance would be better on a zero 2 w?
Hard to find those right now.
