Fixes

Description

This PR resolves the "Invalid Host Header" error encountered when running the Vue.js development server in a Gitpod environment. It updates the vue.config.js file to configure the devServer options appropriately, allowing requests from Gitpod's unique workspace URLs.

Technical details

  1. Issue Identified: The development server was rejecting requests due to unrecognized host headers generated by Gitpod's custom subdomain.

  2. Solution Implemented:

  • Updated the vue.config.js file to include a devServer configuration.
  • Set the host option to '0.0.0.0', allowing the server to listen on all network interfaces.
  • Added allowedHosts: ['.gitpod.io'] to explicitly permit Gitpod's hostnames.

Tests

  • Run the updated code in a Gitpod workspace.
  • Start the development server using npm run serve.
  • Verified that the application runs correctly and no longer throws the "Invalid Host Header" error.
