Metadata filtering for specific calendar events on individual calendars

My SO and I each have our individual google calendars as well as our shared family calendar syncing. We would like to include her call schedule, which is also a shared google calendar, but we do not wish to include call days for other members of the call pool.

There are two current options for workarounds, both involving creating new events on a separate calendar (in our case, my SO's individual google calendar)

1. Export the shared call calendar to csv, filter for just her call days, then re-import into her personal google calendar
2. Use an IFTTT recipe to automatically create a new calendar event on her personal google calendar whenever a new event is created on the shared call calendar. Problem is, to do any filtering, you need an IFTTT subscription

Both of these have issues if the call schedule ever changes, like if two partners switch dates. It requires manually updating the event on her calendar.

It would be nice if you could do the filtering on the shared calendar to only show certain events on our dakboard. I've seen some custom css tricks but they don't really pertain to a larger feature of attribute-based filtering, for example:

1. Events with a specific string in the subject
2. Events created by a specific organizer
3. Events that start before or after a certain time of day

I second this! I'm currently using icalfilter.com and it works, but it would be SO nice to have this integrated into DakBoard
We use a single calendar displayed in our main hall. We then pass the calendar through icalfilter.com to filter each location so that the board shows each room on the calendar with a different color....and all we have to do is make sure to name the room correctly in the location.
