Synthesize Disaster Scenarios into First Draft of Design Doc

User Story or Problem Statement

As the CMS PO and PL, I need to understand the possible disaster scenarios could happen when the CMS team implements on demand publishing and introduces new security and stability risks within VA.gov.

Steps for Implementation

• Meet with CMS PO and CMS Engineering Lead to understand willingness for risk at VA
• Research what other products (e.g. Vets API) are doing to mitigate risk
• Run a facilitated brainstorming session with CMS team to identify disaster scenarios
• Synthesize findings into the first draft of a design document

Acceptance Criteria

• Take the outcomes from the brainstorming sessions and synthesize the identified disaster scenarios into the first draft of the. design doc.
• Document the level of risk VA is willing to own and write out early strategies to mitigate that risk.
