This snap works well and is the latest version and dependencies which is what I need in Kubuntu 20.04. One thing I noticed was the Snap installer did not create a shortuct in the applications menu for me. I just run the application from the terminal instead. Is it supposed to do this? Every other application I install in Kubuntu does create an applications menu shortcut, including other Snaps.

The Snap should provide a desktop entry. If it isn't, then perhaps there's been an issue with snapd when installing the snap. It might be helpful to post a new thread on forum.snapcraft.io indicating the issue and that other snaps are fine. Audacity correctly shows up in my stock Ubuntu menu, so it should work.
