  1. Download this HDR image (rename extension to .avif after download)
  2. Upload image to Discord

Expected

A preview image that's either HDR (like the source image), or it's reasonably tonemapped to SDR

Observed

A preview image that has very muted colors and it's hard to make out details

Notes

Source image doesn't have an ICC profile embedded -- colorimetry information is provided solely by CICP metadata. This is common in AVIFs sourced from video captures.

Thanks for posting this issue! I'll aim for this to be fixed in the next patch release of Lilliput, and Discord shortly thereafter.
