Seasoning sucked, but I might have paid the price for substituting ground ginger for fresh and mediocre curry powder.
Soak in cold water:
- 160 grams rice noodles
Marinate for 15 minutes:
- 2 pork steaks, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons masa (corn flour)
Stir fry in a wok over high heat (smoking).
- Marinated pork
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Set pork aside. Fry an egg in the remaining oil:
- 1 egg, scrambled
Add and stir fry vegetables for a bit:
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 2 baby bok choy, halved
- 10 grams ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
Stir fry until shrimp are cooked through:
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Stir fry until the noodles are hot:
- Soaked noodles, drained
- 100 grams water chestnuts
- 1 lime
- Cooked pork
Serve and garnish with:
- 2 spring onions, sliced thin
- Sesame oil, drizzled
