Saute until translucent:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 shallot, minced
Saute until translucent:
- 1/2 cup medium grain white rice, rinsed thoroughly
Bring to a boil:
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 1 clove garlic, smashed
- Salt
- Pepper
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
