This feature involves color tagging specific layers.

It's highly recommended to just offer a limited amount of colors to avoid complications.

For example:

This should manifest as backdrop color like so:

And NOT manifest as coloring the layer icon or the margin to its left, so it doesn't contradict options possible from them.
