how configure mailtip

my container mailer is running but it's impossible to access with url browser. localhost refuse the connection
else web server and mercure are good.

i'm sure i have missed something,

• env?
• compose-override.yaml?

Based on the information you provided in the question, it is impossible to understand what the problem is.

Can you show your compose.yaml, compose.override.yaml and .env files?

What environment are you running the project on (what OS, Docker and Docker Compose versions)?

Can you make sure that nothing other than your project (which is in question) is occupying ports 80 and 443?

What logs are shown when you run the project?

compose.override.yaml provides a configuration extension for Docker Compose to develop a project. This file is used by Docker Compose by default as if you had written docker compose -f compose.yaml -f compose.override.yaml up -d instead of the docker compose up -d command (see https://docs.docker.com/compose/how-tos/multiple-compose-files/merge/).

According to the contents of the files, ports 80, 443 and 3306 should be forwarded. The port for accessing the mailer service (8025) is forwarded randomly and can be viewed in Docker for Windows.

If you need the mailer service port to be forwarded to the system by a specific one, you can configure this for the mailer service in the compose.override.yaml file (see https://docs.docker.com/reference/compose-file/services/#ports) by converting the forwarding from the CONTAINER format to the HOST:CONTAINER format.

Last question please sir, what's mean in compose.yaml, example, ${MYSQL_USER:-user}?
Create a variable MYSQL_USER with value user? Why a "-"? or it'a OR with MYSQL_USER variable in .env?

The expression ${MYSQL_USER:-user} is a parameter expansion syntax in bash (and other POSIX-compliant shells). Here's what it means:

• MYSQL_USER: An environment variable that may or may not be defined.
• ${...}: Used to access the value of a variable in bash.
• :-: A default value operator.

If the variable MYSQL_USER is set and not empty, its value will be used.
If MYSQL_USER is unset or empty, the default value user will be used.
