How to add symbolic folder to current workspace

When I link a source folder outside of the project root. Lsp-mode will not be enabled for that folder.
For example

├── client
│   ├── package.json
│   └── shared -> ../shared/
├── server
│   ├── package.json
│   └── shared -> ../shared/
└── shared

When I open files in the shared folder of sub project. Lsp-mode won't active.
