Hi!
Thanks for the plugin.
Faced with this behavior, the groups are duplicated. Some students are in both groups, and some are in only one. How to solve this problem? I may not have fully understood the logic of the plugin, but I would like the group to be the same and all new users with the appropriate field to be added to an existing group.

The idea is that you do not have to create groups - the plugin does it for you. In the settings, check the Groups box and this might stop the duplication.
We've seen this behaviour too, allowing the plugin to create all groups. Possibly race condition related? We're dealing with extremely large datasets and numbers of groups - so the plugin is running very slowly and this seems to occur when it's under particularly heavy load.
