Hello,
I noticed that the files app presents the following issues regularly:

  • The pinned folders disappear completely
  • When trying to open more than 1 file, such as 2 pdf files, the app crashes

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Pinned folders disappear unexpectedly during app use
  2. App crashes when trying to open more than 1 file, such as 2 pdf files, the app crashes

Requirements

  • e.g. Fix crash that occurs when...
    Fix crash that occurs when trying to open more than 1 file, such as 2 pdf files, the app crashes.
    Fix pinned folders disappearance

Pinned folders disappear unexpectedly during app use

We're tracking this in #15410. You can check there or click subscribe in the right sidebar for updates. Please use the workaround there

App crashes when trying to open more than 1 file, such as 2 pdf files, the app crashes

Do you have the preview pane open?
