It is not being actively worked on. I use it and it serves my needs good enough.

As I explained in upstream ssr issue related to Wayland support: I believe the proper way to introduce Wayland support is to implement PipeWire and portal protocols. This repository should be only seen as a minimal implementation that would serve people's needs in meanwhile.
