would it be possible to allow it to select a different microphone, usually the microphone used when recording video works better than the call microphone, I know programs like droid cam have this option

Thank you for your suggestion.

If we keep the "spirit" of this app which is minimal GUI and a CLI client, it should be possible to define arbitrary methods on the service that can be called through ADB, including a method to select a different audio source, so you could do something like audiosource set-input camcorder.

I don't really have the bandwidth to implement that currently, but I will keep this issue open in case someone wants to give it a try.
