Problem case

I like to use the Anki Speed Focus Mode Add-on so that I don't spend too long on any card that I don't know. I have it set to about 10-15 seconds. I like to leave Anki on the background sometimes while I'm watching TV or doing other things on my laptop.

However, Speed Focus Mode is sometimes VERY loud despite the volume of almost everything else on my laptop being very low, so it is very distracting if I want to keep the volume on AND use Speed Focus Mode.

Solution

I would love to have a function or option to control the volume of the buzzer sound of Speed Focus Mode,

You can do this by using a sliding scale, or by simply having users type in a number (out of 100) for volume level, on the same screen where the settings for Speed Focus Mode are, or within the the Add-on Config.

Concisely describe alternatives you've considered (if any)

Perhaps you can provide users a variety of sound bites that they can choose from, with some sounds more loud and obnoxious than others.
