This python library hosts the core classes and data structures from trtools and haptools in one place, so that we can use them in other scripts and tools without having to install trtools and haptools and all of their dependencies. In the future, it will also allow us to use trtools data structures in haptools and vice versa.

Here are some names I've come up with. Feel free to comment below with your own!

• haptropy (or haptrix or haptrek, if we wanted to change the suffix)
• genix-core (or genixopy if we wanted to incorporate the py suffix)
• gymrek-lab-core or gymrek-core

Ideally, the name would be unique enough that it doesn't clash with anything on google or pypi.
