I've tried to open the newest releases of the Linux build of F-Chat Rising. However, when trying to run the software, nothing happens when I double-click on the appimage. When I open it in a terminal I receive the following error message:
bash: ./F-Chat-Rising-linux-x64.AppImage: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
This happens even after deleting the whole F-Chat config folder. The most recent build that will actually open and run is version 1.26.2
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
This bug was already reported back in #417, though it would be really nice if the x64 appimages were taken down for all versions after 1.26.2 and a note added saying, "The x64 AppImage for this version is not available; Please use a more recent or previous version."
Edit: What I meant to say is; the developer has been AFK a few months, although active on the web in general, so get comfortable with 1.26.2.
