Strummed Chords

I've just discovered TuxGuitar and love it so far. Just one little question (I'm pretty sure many more will follow):
Is there any way I can make guitar chords sound like they were strummed? I'm specifically talking about one chord per measure, notated in whole notes. At the moment it sounds like a piano chord where all notes sound exactly at the same time. Probably I could imitate the strumming sound by using 32th or 64th notes starting after each other, but then the notation would make no practical sense at all.

The answer to your question could be menu Beat -> UpStroke / Downstroke
Also accessible with edit toolbar, in "Beat" section
